Fleet Operations Supervisor

About the role

QJ Motors seeks an organised, hands‑on Fleet Operations Supervisor to manage the leasing and daily operations of its motorcycle fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily motorcycle leasing operations, including allocations, handovers, returns and inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of lease agreements, fleet availability, insurance and vehicle documentation.
• Liaise with the Traffic Directorate and relevant authorities for registrations, renewals and ownership transfers.
• Coordinate servicing, repairs and preventive maintenance with the workshop to minimise downtime.
• Monitor motorcycle condition, mileage and service schedules to keep the fleet safe and roadworthy.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve leasing and fleet‑related issues.
• Track lease expiry dates and coordinate renewals, returns and payment follow‑ups.
• Prepare regular reports on fleet utilisation, maintenance costs and operational performance.

Required profile

• Previous experience in fleet management, vehicle leasing or transport operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Basic technical knowledge of motorcycles and routine maintenance requirements.
• Familiarity with vehicle registration, renewal and transfer procedures.
• Strong organisational, communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and maintaining fleet records.
• A valid motorcycle licence is an advantage.
