Head of Advisory

About the role

Braxtone Advisory is looking for a Head of Advisory in Manama to turn the practice into a trusted, high-growth regional partner for insurance-sector boards, executives, regulators and investors. The role builds commercially relevant propositions, wins and expands strategic client relationships and delivers measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Advisory business strategy, annual plan and three-year growth roadmap, own the practice P&L and prepare performance reports for the Group CEO and Executive Committee.
• Originate new assignments, build relationships with board members, CEOs, regulators and investors across the GCC, and lead proposals, pricing, negotiation and contracting.
• Grow key accounts, maintain a disciplined pipeline and forecast with probability weighting.
• Sponsor strategic engagements, turn complex issues into workplans and recommendations, and set rigorous engagement controls on scope, budget, resourcing, risks and billing.
• Lead offerings across insurance strategy, operating-model transformation, claims, regulatory and licensing advisory, governance and risk, digital and AI transformation, M&A, restructuring and feasibility planning, and produce thought leadership.
• Design the practice's resource model, recruit, coach and retain a high-performing team, and use offshore resources where appropriate while protecting quality and confidentiality.
• Apply engagement acceptance, conflict, independence, confidentiality, data protection and quality-review controls, and work with the Group's Insurance, Claims, Assistance and Digital businesses.
