Host / Hostess – Guest Reception at Downtown Rotana Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Host or Hostess to join our Food & Beverage team at Downtown Rotana Hotel in Manama. You will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering a warm welcome and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with a professional, friendly and engaging attitude.
• Escort guests to their tables, manage reservations and maintain the reservation book.
• Answer telephone calls courteously and handle outlet reservations.
• Prepare the outlet before service and coordinate with the service team for floor‑plan arrangements.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the outlet and entrance area.
• Stay informed about menus and promotions to provide accurate recommendations.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in hospitality or a related field.
• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage department within a hotel is preferred.
• Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Polite, sophisticated demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
• Well‑groomed appearance and a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
