Secondary English Teacher

About the role

The school seeks a passionate Secondary English Teacher to deliver the British National Curriculum to secondary‑level pupils while meeting Bahrain Ministry of Education requirements. Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for secondary students following the British curriculum.
• Integrate Arabic, Islamic, and Social Studies requirements as mandated by the Bahrain Ministry of Education.
• Mentor and support newly qualified and early‑career teachers.
• Contribute to the school house system and promote a positive, nurturing atmosphere.
• Participate in school events and collaborate with colleagues across nursery, primary, and senior sections.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education or in English.
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
• Experience with the British curriculum preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
