About the role
The Setting out Manager will coordinate internal and external clients and lead the setting out team to ensure smooth project manufacturing, client satisfaction, and balanced quality and cost performance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee assigned projects, reviewing details, schedules, and client expectations.
- Lead coordination with production departments, material procurement, shop drawing preparation, and cutting list issuance.
- Oversee site surveys, RFI management, and ensure timely approval of project drawings.
- Prepare project status reports and forward‑plan schedules for manufacturing.
Required profile
- Minimum ten years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically joinery setting out.
- Proven ability to manage a team of 15‑20 members.
- Strong technical and execution capabilities across diverse materials (timber, glass, acrylic, stone, metal, fabrics).
Required skills
- Proficiency with Autodesk products.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of FSC, LEED, and FR standards.
