Associate – Business Credit Office (Bahraini National)

About the role

HSBC’s Business Credit Office (BCO) is building a first‑line credit management function to streamline credit analysis, structuring and client interaction. As an Associate you will support BCO Managers and Relationship Managers in delivering credit advisory and lending services across the bank’s corporate and institutional portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver BCO tasks in line with agreed OKRs, SLAs and KPIs.
• Support the end‑to‑end Credit & Lending servicing journey, ensuring a seamless process for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Assist Relationship Managers with credit analysis and timely submission of credit proposals for new and existing facilities.
• Liaise with relevant teams to prepare facility letters and internal security documents, and verify completeness of external legal counsel’s documentation.
• Conduct periodic credit reviews, monitor covenant compliance and report any breaches, escalating risks as required.
• Coordinate credit applications or renewals and manage risk escalation to protect the business from exposure.
