About the role

Our client, a leading tax and regulatory advisory firm, is expanding its leadership team in Bahrain. The Direct Tax Partner will shape the firm’s direct tax offering at a pivotal moment as Bahrain introduces its first corporate income tax.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow the direct tax practice in Bahrain.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with multinationals, regional conglomerates, financial institutions and family offices.
• Oversee complex advisory engagements and ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Drive commercial strategy, revenue growth and team development as the practice scales.
• Collaborate with partners across the UAE, KSA and the broader regional network to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of corporate tax experience.
• Strong reputation and network within the GCC market.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a professional services practice.
• Commercial acumen and a track record of revenue generation.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in corporate tax advisory and compliance.
• In‑depth knowledge of GCC tax regulations and emerging corporate income tax frameworks.
• Ability to advise clients on structuring and compliance in a new tax environment.
