Environmental & Sustainability Site Lead

About the role

Kimberly-Clark is seeking an experienced professional to lead the environmental and sustainability agenda at one of its manufacturing sites. You will drive the implementation of global sustainability goals, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the site’s environmental and sustainability strategy in line with Kimberly-Clark’s global objectives.
• Deliver Sustainability 2030 targets for water, emissions, waste, and chemicals.
• Ensure full compliance with all environmental regulations and internal standards.
• Identify environmental risks, develop mitigation plans, and manage incident investigations.
• Own and continuously improve the site’s E&S management system, aligning with ISO 14001.
• Analyze environmental data, provide actionable insights, and drive corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver training programs to build environmental awareness across the site.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and contractors to embed sustainability practices.
• Lead, coach, and develop a small team of environmental professionals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of environmental management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record in legal compliance and regulatory management.
• Experience leading continuous‑improvement initiatives and managing environmental incidents.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 14001 environmental management standards.
• Ability to analyze environmental data and generate insights.
