Loss Prevention Officer – Hotel Security

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Loss Prevention Officer to safeguard guests, staff and assets at The Ritz‑Carlton Bahrain. The role involves patrolling the property, monitoring security systems and responding swiftly to incidents to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the hotel, assist guests with room access and lock property entrances when required.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress and fire‑life‑safety systems and respond to alerts.
• Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and report safety concerns.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, contact EMS and complete incident reports.
• Defuse guest or employee disturbances, escort unwelcome persons and coordinate with external assistance when needed.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, interview parties and maintain confidentiality of all reports.
• Prepare shift summaries and daily activity reports.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or run for extended periods and lift objects up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
• Commitment to follow company policies, safety procedures and confidentiality standards.

Required skills

• Closed‑Circuit Television (CCTV) monitoring.
• Operation of perimeter alarm and duress alarm systems.
• Fire‑life‑safety system handling.
• First aid and CPR certification.
