Project Coordinator (Automation)

About the role

We are looking for a Project Coordinator (Automation) to lead the delivery of end‑to‑end gas dispatching systems in the Middle East. The role focuses on project coordination, integration oversight and stakeholder management rather than detailed system design.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the full project lifecycle from FEED through detailed engineering, procurement, implementation, commissioning and handover.
• Deliver functional modules for gas dispatching, including real‑time monitoring, nomination management, demand forecasting, priority allocation, curtailment logic, LNG scheduling and GIS/pipeline surveillance.
• Manage internal stakeholders such as Operations, Gas Planning, Midstream Gas, LNG Import, Instrumentation, IT/OT and Project Services, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
• Lead vendor and EPC coordination, handling interface management, technical clarifications, system architecture reviews and integration testing.
• Ensure compliance with OT cybersecurity requirements and engineering standards, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Oversee systems integration activities in collaboration with technical teams and the company IT/Business application team.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience delivering end‑to‑end dispatching system implementations for gas, energy or pipeline operations.
• Strong coordination skills with multiple vendors, control/IT/OT systems and operations teams.
• Ability to manage cross‑discipline reviews, technical approvals and stakeholder expectations.
• Knowledge of OT cybersecurity and engineering standards.
