Senior Manager – IT Infrastructure, Projects & Data Center

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to lead the end‑to‑end IT infrastructure landscape for a leading financial services organization in Bahrain. The role oversees data centre operations, network and security, large‑scale infrastructure projects and end‑user services, ensuring high availability, resilience and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead large‑scale infrastructure initiatives such as cloud migrations, data‑centre upgrades and network transformation.
• Design, manage and optimise network architecture, security and performance across hybrid environments.
• Oversee data‑centre operations, disaster‑recovery planning and regular testing.
• Ensure IT help‑desk and end‑user support meet SLA standards.
• Drive governance, risk and compliance in line with financial‑services regulations.
• Manage vendors, budgets and cost‑optimisation programmes.
• Develop and mentor cross‑functional IT teams.

Required profile

• 10–15+ years of IT experience with a strong infrastructure focus.
• Proven leadership of technical teams and delivery of complex projects.
• Experience in financial services or similarly regulated environments.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Data‑centre operations and disaster‑recovery.
• Network architecture and hybrid cloud environments.
• Cybersecurity fundamentals and regulatory frameworks.
• Project management certifications (PMP or PRINCE2) and ITIL.
