Senior Solutions Architect – AWS (Manama, Bahrain)

About the role

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join its EMEA team in Manama, Bahrain. You will work closely with sales and technical teams to design, build, and migrate highly scalable, secure, and cost‑effective cloud solutions for digitally native customers.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with AWS product and sales teams to craft resilient cloud architectures that solve customer business challenges.
• Drive revenue growth by guiding customers through AWS adoption, migration, and optimization.
• Own the technical relationship with customers, providing recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Deliver one‑to‑few and one‑to‑many training sessions, sharing best‑practice knowledge across the AWS Solutions Architect community.
• Capture and disseminate architectural insights to help shape AWS mindshare in the region.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated professional with a proven track record in software/technology sales or consulting.
• Ability to translate technical solutions into measurable business value.
• Strategic thinker with strong understanding of large‑scale computing and systems engineering.
