Technical Trainer – Electrical Power Engineering (MEA)

About the role

Omicron is seeking a Technical Trainer to deliver high‑quality training on electrical power engineering solutions across the MEA region. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure knowledge transfer and product expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging training sessions (onsite, virtual, webinars) on Omicron products and applications.
• Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, manuals, and e‑learning content.
• Customize training programs to match customer needs and technical levels.
• Support product demonstrations, workshops, and knowledge‑transfer activities.
• Contribute to application notes, technical documentation, and continuous improvement of training content.
• Stay up‑to‑date with product developments and power‑system technologies.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• In‑depth experience in power systems (generation, transmission, distribution) and protection testing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience delivering technical training.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages (Arabic or French) are a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50 %.
