Application Specialist – Medical Device Support

About the role

The Application Specialist will provide expert user support for a leading medical device portfolio, ensuring laboratories in Bahrain can effectively use and maintain the equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver specialist user support, including training, troubleshooting, and application guidance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and communicate updates to users.
• Assist laboratories with validation, verification, quality control, and resolve product complaints promptly.
• Collect customer feedback, prepare activity reports and keep accurate records in CRM systems.
• Support sales teams with technical expertise during pre‑ and post‑sales activities and contribute to tenders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a medical laboratory environment with strong clinical diagnostics knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Arabic and English.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude and strong organisational skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Technical expertise with laboratory instruments and diagnostic workflows.
• Experience using CRM systems for record keeping.
