Assessment Governance Analyst

About the role

The Assessment Governance Analyst provides analytical, operational and administrative support to the Assessment Governance Manager, ensuring robust assessment governance across RCSI Bahrain. Working under direct supervision, the role contributes to data analysis, reporting, quality assurance and continuous improvement of academic assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, validate and maintain assessment datasets for written, clinical and OSCE examinations.
• Perform preliminary statistical and psychometric analyses, including item analysis, reliability measures and cohort performance summaries.
• Compile examination board papers, progression and award reports, and draft accreditation and regulatory documentation.
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards and routine management reports.
• Maintain assessment records, governance documentation and audit trails in line with university requirements.
• Monitor assessment timelines, flag delays or data inconsistencies, and support board material preparation.
• Conduct quality checks on data and reports, identify anomalies and support internal audits.
• Liaise with Academic Operations, Registry and academic staff to provide assessment information as directed.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under the direction of the Assessment Governance Manager and follow established governance procedures.
• Experience handling academic assessment data and producing clear analytical summaries.
• Good organizational skills for managing documentation, timelines and audit requirements.
