Assistant Information Technology Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Information Technology Manager to join our team at Lagoona Beach Luxury Resort & Spa in Bahrain. This full-time, on-site position supports the IT Manager in maintaining the resort’s technology infrastructure and ensuring seamless service for both guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain network and server infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Provide first-line user support, handling hardware and software incidents across Windows workstations and business applications.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in line with security policies.
• Coordinate with external vendors for procurement, installation, and technical support of IT equipment.
• Assist in the rollout of new systems and applications, including property management and hospitality solutions.
• Ensure regular data backup, recovery procedures, and system security measures are in place.
• Document incidents, changes, and configurations, and deliver training on IT best practices to resort staff.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and workstation configuration.
• Experience with system administration, user account management, and basic cybersecurity practices.
• Ability to work on-site in Bahrain, manage multiple priorities, and respond promptly to issues.
• Good communication and customer-service skills to support resort personnel.
