B2 Licensed Engineer

About the role

The B2 Licensed Engineer will supervise both licensed engineers and unlicensed maintenance mechanics, ensuring aircraft are released back to service in full compliance with all regulatory and company standards. This technical position plays a critical role in maintaining the highest possible aircraft serviceability and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise licensed engineers and unlicensed mechanics, authorising aircraft release for service.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with approved data, regulations, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives and manufacturer service letters.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and mentorship to mechanics and trainees.
• Maintain and update company‑issued IT equipment such as iPads and mobile phones.
• Conduct shift handover communication, documenting work‑in‑progress, equipment status and safety considerations.
• Requisition parts, verify serviceability, tag and return parts, and complete all required documentation.
• Manage ETL procedures and ensure proper printing in case of failure.
• Stay current with all applicable regulations and complete mandatory quarterly trainings.

Required profile

• Licensed aircraft engineer authorised to release aircraft to service.
• Proven experience supervising maintenance teams and conducting training.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and documentation standards.

Required skills

• Aircraft maintenance and airworthiness certification.

• ETL management and troubleshooting.
• IT device management (iPad, mobile phones).
• Parts requisition and inventory control.
