Barista – Majilis Al Fijiri Lobby Lounge

About the role

We are looking for a Barista to join the Majilis Al Fijiri Lobby Lounge at Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain. The role is part of the Food & Beverage team in a luxury resort setting, serving guests with high‑quality coffee and beverage experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Handle cash float and process transactions for the outlet.
• Pick, verify and store requisitions for juices, soft drinks and food items.
• Prepare and serve drip coffee, espresso‑based drinks, tea and specialty beverages.
• Maintain stock levels during service and track inventory for coffee beans, milk, napkins and cups.
• Clean, troubleshoot and schedule repairs for espresso machines, grinders and coffee equipment.
• Ensure food safety by following HACCP procedures.

Required profile

• Hotel School degree or diploma.
• At least 1 year of barista or similar experience.
• Minimum 2 years working in a 5‑star international luxury environment.
• Experience in multicultural teams.
• Presentable with strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Espresso machine operation.
• Cash handling.
