Business Development Manager – Insurance (GCC)

About the role
The Business Development Manager will drive growth by identifying and securing opportunities within the GCC insurance sector. Acting as a bridge between client needs and our consultancy services, you will enhance market presence, build lasting relationships, and increase revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with company goals and tailored to the insurance sector.
- Identify, qualify and acquire new clients, maintaining strong relationships with decision‑makers at insurance companies, brokers and other stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes and competitor activity to uncover new opportunities.
- Prepare high‑quality proposals, presentations and service agreements; lead contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with consulting, marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and relay client feedback.
- Set and achieve sales targets, report KPIs to senior management and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance or related field; professional certification (e.g., CII, CPCU) required.
- Minimum 7 years of business development or sales experience within the insurance sector.
- Proven track record of generating revenue and closing deals with insurance companies, brokers or loss adjusters.
- Strong understanding of GCC insurance regulations, market trends and operational processes.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Goal‑oriented, self‑motivated and able to thrive in a competitive environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems.
