Café Supervisor / Manager

About the role

The Café Supervisor / Manager leads daily café operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, food and beverage quality, and overall outlet efficiency. This role balances hands‑on service during busy periods with staff leadership, inventory control, and financial oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and overall café workflow.
• Supervise and schedule staff, conduct briefings, and monitor performance.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards across all areas.
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, ordering, and waste control.
• Monitor sales, KPIs, and implement upselling or promotional initiatives.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and service recovery professionally.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in café, restaurant or F&B operations, including supervisory roles.
• Proven ability to train, coach and motivate a team in a fast‑paced environment.
