Director Project Delivery

About the role

The Director Project Delivery leads the end‑to‑end execution of development projects in Bahrain, ensuring each product is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. This senior position coordinates design, permitting, contractor selection, construction, and handover while aligning with strategic development objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute project delivery plans in line with overall development strategies.
• Secure all necessary building permits and approvals at each project stage.
• Provide constructability input during design and facilitate value‑engineering workshops.
• Support business development by delivering technical inputs for land‑use and feasibility studies.
• Coordinate with Commercial & Contracts and Project Control functions for tender preparation, contractor selection, and contract variations.
• Manage mobilisation, execution, and handover activities, ensuring adherence to schedules.
• Monitor contractor and consultant performance, identify risks, and drive mitigation actions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience delivering large‑scale construction or development projects.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, permitting processes, and safety regulations.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent risk management and issue‑resolution capabilities.
• Track record of delivering projects within scope, cost, and schedule constraints.
