About the role
The American University of Bahrain seeks part‑time adjunct faculty to teach Economics and Finance courses within the College of Business and Management. The role includes teaching, curriculum development, student advising, and academic support.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate Economics and Finance courses.
- Prepare syllabi, lesson plans, assignments and assess student work.
- Advise students on course selection and academic goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop or modify curricula.
- Invigilate examinations and perform related administrative duties.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects or theses.
Required profile
- Minimum Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Teaching experience at the undergraduate level (Master’s holders) and at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels (PhD holders).
- Strong communication, relationship‑building and leadership abilities aligned with AUBH core values.
