Electrical Technician – EWA Licensed

About the role

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems across commercial, residential and industrial sites in Bahrain. The role also includes the installation, commissioning and upkeep of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations while ensuring full compliance with EWA regulations and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, equipment and components.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical assets.
• Install and service wiring, distribution boards, circuit breakers, lighting, sockets, switches and power outlets.
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Ensure compliance with Bahrain EWA regulations and electrical safety standards.
• Install, commission, test and maintain EV charging stations.
• Prepare electrical infrastructure and install cabling, protective devices and isolators for EV charger installations.

Required profile

• Valid EWA Electrical Technician License.
• Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Bahrain EWA regulations and electrical safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents.
