Engineering Manager

About the role

DHL Air Bahrain, a world‑class cargo airline operating a fleet of Boeing 767 aircraft, is looking for an experienced Aviation Engineering professional to lead its Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO). Reporting to the Director – Technical, you will oversee Technical Services, Airline Maintenance, Technical Records and the Technical Library while ensuring fleet airworthiness.

Key responsibilities

• Introduce, revise and manage maintenance and reliability programmes.
• Initiate and control the review and implementation of incoming FAA Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins (SBs).
• Prioritise work requirements and lead weekly project meetings to keep aircraft serviceable.
• Manage the engineering team, including recruitment, staff development and performance monitoring.
• Lead all aspects of project management related to aircraft maintenance and airworthiness.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience.
• At least 5 years in Technical Services or similar roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Ideally hold an EASA, FAA or ICAO Engineering Licence.
• Experience with Part‑145 and Part‑CAMO regulations.
