Finance Associate

About the role

The Finance Associate will support Amana Healthcare’s Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and preparing reports. Working closely with internal stakeholders, the role ensures compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements while contributing to the hospital’s overall financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Process journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments and perform account reconciliations.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and accurate record‑keeping.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for external audits.
• Maintain fixed‑asset records and support inventory accounting where applicable.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative departments on finance‑related matters.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives to enhance financial controls and reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA, CA or CA Inter preferred.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance; healthcare experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Oracle or QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance.
