Gym Instructor – Luxury Hotel Wellness Center

About the role

Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa is seeking a motivated Gym Instructor to join its Wellness & Recreation team. You will deliver personalized fitness experiences to guests, ensuring safety and promoting the resort’s wellness facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide a friendly, professional fitness experience.
• Conduct gym orientations and demonstrate safe equipment use.
• Design personalized fitness programs based on guest goals and fitness levels.
• Monitor workouts to ensure correct technique and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the fitness centre.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Support wellness activities, fitness classes, and hotel events as required.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Promote the hotel’s wellness facilities and services.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Fitness, Physical Education, Sports Science or related field.
• Valid Gym/Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Gym Instructor or Personal Trainer, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort or fitness club.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude with a strong focus on guest service.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
