Hotel Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Hotel Manager will oversee all aspects of operations at Barceló Hotel & Residences Bahrain, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance and a motivated team. Reporting to senior leadership, the manager will uphold brand standards and drive continuous improvement across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and motivate all departments including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, and sales.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to meet revenue targets, control costs and maximise profitability.
• Maintain high guest satisfaction through proactive service, swift issue resolution and ongoing quality initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies and Barceló brand standards.
• Oversee HR functions such as recruitment, training, performance management and employee relations.
• Prepare and manage budgets, financial forecasts and capital expenditure plans.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and guest feedback to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Build and sustain relationships with owners, suppliers and community stakeholders.
• Implement and uphold health, safety and security protocols for guests and staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing 4‑ or 5‑star hotel operations, preferably in a resort environment.
• Strong leadership and team‑development capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve financial targets and manage budgets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Commitment to brand integrity, guest satisfaction and continuous improvement.
