Inventory Executive

About the role

The Inventory Executive handles day-to-day inventory work to support the inventory team leader and store operations. The role covers receiving goods, keeping accurate stock records and supporting store and merchandising activities.

Key responsibilities

• Receive stocks, materials, equipment, supplies or merchandise and maintain records of quantity and value.
• Manage database of all stock, ensure proper storage and handling, and report anomalies.
• Create GRN for received goods and validate it against LPO and invoice; review supplier invoices for accuracy.
• Create PRET and LTI documents as requested by the merchandising team and check items on the floor.
• Keep Brand Promise products separate and hand them over to the Brand Promise Officer.
• Update the purchase return report weekly and ensure display items are authorised by the Store Manager and reflected on POS.
• Count, sort and check incoming merchandise against requisitions and/or invoices.
• Assist the Inventory Team Leader with SNP reports and perpetual inventory counts, and manage the stock room.
• Manage HVS activities, update the inventory log book, and check staff grooming, discipline and punctuality.
• Follow checklists such as staff discount policy and store opening/closing procedures.

Required profile

• 2-3 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management.
• Graduate level education preferred.
• Professional certifications in retail management.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• MS Excel.
• Customer focus, teamwork, communication and problem solving.
