Junior Estimator – Interior Fit‑out Projects

About the role

Havelock One Interiors is seeking a Junior Estimator to support its interior fit‑out and joinery projects in Bahrain. You will work closely with consultants, contractors, accountants and operations teams to deliver accurate cost analyses and tender documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Receive contract enquiries, assess suitability and record data according to QA procedures.
• Issue enquiries to the supply chain, select optimal suppliers or manufacturing locations and obtain competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce program schedules and quality submissions for RFQs.
• Analyse supplier quotes, negotiate costs, and compare terms with standard tender practices.
• Prepare tender analysis reports and present findings internally and to clients.
• Detail cost breakdowns for contract review and calculate mark‑ups for tender meetings.
• Ensure tender summary sheets are signed off following QA guidelines.
• Monitor tender progress, attend client meetings and identify risks or opportunities in specifications, drawings and bills of materials.
• Participate in hand‑over meetings between Estimating, Operations and Commercial teams, providing necessary project information.

Required profile

• IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience in metal fabrication estimation.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time‑management skills to meet deadlines.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Good organisational and interpersonal abilities.
• Capable of multitasking under pressure and delivering presentations.
