Knowledge Manager (Remote, Bahrain)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Knowledge Manager to shape and execute our enterprise knowledge management strategy. The role focuses on building governance frameworks, maintaining knowledge repositories, and fostering a culture of continuous learning across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement knowledge management strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Establish taxonomy, metadata standards, and content lifecycle processes.
• Manage enterprise knowledge repositories, document management systems, and collaboration platforms.
• Capture, organize, and distribute organizational knowledge and best practices.
• Identify knowledge gaps with business units and improve accessibility.
• Run knowledge‑sharing programs, communities of practice, and employee collaboration initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs such as content quality, usage, adoption, and search effectiveness.
• Lead content audits, lifecycle management, and information governance projects.
• Support onboarding, training, and organizational learning through curated knowledge resources.
• Ensure compliance with information security, records management, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare executive dashboards, performance reports, and strategic recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement using AI‑powered knowledge management and automation tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Library Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of experience in knowledge management, information management, content or document management, or organizational learning.
• Proven track record of implementing enterprise‑wide knowledge management programs.
• Strong understanding of taxonomy design, content governance, document lifecycle management, and collaboration technologies.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
