Plumbing Foreman

About the role

The plumbing foreman supervises and coordinates plumbing installation, maintenance and repair work at project sites, making sure tasks are done safely, efficiently and in line with project specifications, company standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise plumbers and helpers on site, and plan, assign and monitor daily activities
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings, specifications and work schedules
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, sewage and piping
• Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors and other trades
• Check material needs and ensure tools and equipment are available
• Inspect finished work and enforce HSE policies and site safety rules
• Hold toolbox talks, report daily progress and manpower use, and resolve technical issues

Required profile

• Diploma or trade certificate in plumbing or a related field
• At least 5 years of plumbing experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role
• Experience on commercial, industrial or construction projects

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting plumbing drawings and technical documents
• Knowledge of plumbing materials, fittings and installation standards
