Project Assistant

About the role

The Project Assistant will support the planning, execution and monitoring of retail store projects across Bahrain. You will work closely with the Projects team, vendors and internal departments to ensure new store openings, refurbishments and closures are delivered on time and to brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and executing new store openings, refurbishments and closures.
• Track project schedules, material deliveries, vendor progress and site readiness.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Visual Merchandising and IT to meet project timelines.
• Maintain project documentation such as drawings, permits, contracts and handover reports.
• Update trackers and prepare regular status reports on delays and completion metrics.
• Support Project Managers in liaising with landlords, contractors and regulatory authorities.
• Conduct basic site visits, take measurements and follow up on snagging or punch‑list items.
• Assist with invoice processing, payments and budget tracking for assigned projects.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality, safety and brand standards during execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Project Management or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in retail project coordination, site administration or construction/fit‑out support.
• Familiarity with project management tools and the construction documentation process.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and communication skills.
