Sales Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Sales Analyst to join our dynamic FMCG team in Manama. You will turn raw sales data into actionable insights that support strategic decisions and drive growth across retailers, wholesalers, and pharmacies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sales data to spot trends, patterns and growth opportunities across product categories and customer segments.
• Develop and maintain regular sales reports, dashboards and performance metrics for senior management and the sales team.
• Monitor sales performance against targets, providing variance analysis and commentary.
• Support the sales team with data‑driven insights to optimise strategies and improve efficiency.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to deliver a comprehensive market view.
• Assist in sales forecasting, annual budgeting and strategic planning processes.
• Collaborate with marketing, supply chain and finance to ensure alignment on cross‑functional initiatives.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all sales reporting systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales analysis, business analysis or a similar analytical role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modelling).
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
