Sales Associate – Retail Customer Service & Sales

About the role

The Sales Associate will represent the brand in a retail environment, driving sales while delivering exceptional customer service. You will maintain store standards, support visual merchandising, and ensure a seamless shopping experience for all customers.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, guiding them to products that meet their needs and converting browsers into buyers.
• Promote the loyalty program and cross‑sell complementary items.
• Maintain a well‑groomed, professional appearance and stay knowledgeable about product features, materials, and care instructions.
• Arrange merchandise according to visual merchandising guidelines and manage stock, including clearance items.
• Accurately operate the POS system, process payments, issue receipts, and balance the cash till.
• Record inventory movements, replenish the sales floor, and follow loss‑prevention policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in a sales or retail role is preferred.
• Flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Basic cash handling and inventory record‑keeping.
• Understanding of visual merchandising standards.
