Senior Laravel/PHP Developer – Enterprise Applications

About the role

Tech Bay IT Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Laravel/PHP Developer to join its on‑site team in Bahrain. You will work on enterprise‑grade government projects, building scalable web applications and secure APIs while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Laravel (PHP 8.x).
• Design and implement secure RESTful APIs.
• Create responsive user interfaces with Blade, JavaScript (Vue.js or React), and Bootstrap.
• Optimize performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high code quality.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications on AWS cloud.
• Collaborate with non‑technical stakeholders to explain technical concepts.
• Review GitLab repositories for clean, maintainable code following PSR standards and testing best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of professional Laravel/PHP development experience.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Relevant certifications in AWS, PHP, or Laravel are a plus.

Required skills

• PHP 8.x, Laravel, MVC architecture, routing, middleware, Artisan CLI.
• Eloquent ORM, relationships, query optimization, migrations, seeders.
• Secure RESTful API development (Laravel Sanctum/Passport, SQL injection and CSRF protection).
• Blade templating, JavaScript (Vue.js or React), HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap.
• MySQL, Git, GitLab.
• Docker, Laravel Forge, CI/CD pipelines, AWS cloud services.
