Senior Technician – Engineering Department

About the role

Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain is seeking an experienced Senior Technician to join its Engineering Department. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing hotel equipment to ensure uninterrupted operation and high guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all engineering equipment.
• Order, replace, and manage critical spare parts.
• Complete daily breakdown work orders and update the equipment logbook.
• Maintain a safe, tidy work environment and report any unsafe conditions.
• Provide engineering support for kitchen and laundry areas, including guest and departmental complaint handling.
• Conduct regular walk‑arounds of kitchen and laundry zones to verify equipment condition.
• Ensure all necessary materials are available before work commences.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (essential).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (desirable).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry.

Required skills

• Preventive Maintenance (PPM) of electromechanical equipment.
• Equipment repair and troubleshooting.
• Spare‑parts management.
