Service Engineer

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a Service Engineer to join its global team of industrial automation experts. The role involves delivering installation, configuration, and troubleshooting services for Yokogawa control systems at customer sites, supporting the energy transition and sustainable industrial practices.

Key responsibilities

• Perform system installation, application configuration, and troubleshooting for Yokogawa DCS and ESD solutions.
• Design, implement, and test I/O, control functions, interlocks, sequences, and operator interfaces.
• Handle hardware installation, instrumentation wiring, loop drawing, and related troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate project drawings, databases, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project quality standards and complete required quality documents.
• Provide technical training to customers as needed.
• Collaborate with project teams and report time accurately according to company policies.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Engineering – Process Control Systems, Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronics.
• 4–6 years of experience handling small to medium projects or site maintenance as a resident engineer.
• 6–9 years of experience in industrial automation control systems, preferably with Yokogawa DCS (Centum VP) and ESD (ProSafe‑RS or similar).
• Previous experience on offshore FPSO/terminal projects is a plus.
