3D Designer – Events & Exhibitions

About the role

Motivate Events & Media is seeking a creative and commercially‑minded 3D Designer to shape immersive event and exhibition environments. You will translate client briefs, mood boards and venue layouts into compelling, production‑ready 3‑dimensional concepts that enhance brand experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 3D concepts for corporate functions, brand activations, exhibitions, stages, lounges, VIP areas and other experiential installations.
• Produce realistic renders and visualisations that clearly communicate the proposed guest experience.
• Ensure designs are buildable, considering structural requirements, materials, lighting, AV, branding, safety, installation and dismantling.
• Prepare accurate dimensions and detailed design information for fabrication and production teams.
• Interpret venue floor plans, optimise spatial layouts, guest flow and operational requirements.
• Support pitch development and client presentations with high‑quality visuals, reference imagery and material specifications.
• Collaborate closely with creative, events, production, fabrication and account teams to meet tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Strong visual imagination with the ability to turn abstract ideas into practical 3D solutions.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of how event structures are built, installed and experienced.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with multiple internal departments.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt concepts based on production feasibility.
