Accountant – Full-time in Manama

About the role

Alzayani Investments is looking for a motivated Accountant to join its team in Manama, Bahrain. This full-time position offers the chance to handle core accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records and support compliance within a dynamic investment firm.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare supplier payments, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal auditors to verify payments and fixed-asset records.
• Receive customer cheques, issue receipts and manage control numbers for invoices and vouchers.
• Enter and maintain data in the accounting system and Fixed Assets Management System.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist with VAT return reconciliation.
• Prepare petty-cash vouchers and process utility bill payments.
• Support audit activities and contribute to team objectives as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 0–2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software.
