Accounts / Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts / Finance Manager to lead the financial function of Salim Qadri Transport in Manama. The role combines strategic planning, operational oversight, risk management and funding activities to support the company’s growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in shaping the company’s strategic direction and monitor implementation of business plans.
• Develop financial and tax strategies, manage capital requests and budgeting processes.
• Participate in executive management decisions and maintain relationships with senior leadership.
• Oversee accounting, HR, investor relations, legal, tax and treasury functions, including subsidiaries and outsourced providers.
• Supervise transaction processing systems, employee benefit programs and acquisition due diligence.
• Prepare and present financial information to the board of directors.
• Identify and mitigate key risk elements, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and maintain control systems.
• Manage cash forecasting, arrange debt and equity financing, invest company and pension funds, and handle debt restructuring.
• Maintain banking relationships and engage with the investment community.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant certification.
• Proven experience in construction companies, particularly in project finance.
• Hands‑on experience with debt restructuring and project funding.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
