Android Developer – Part‑Time Remote

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to design, build, test and maintain high-quality Android applications. This part-time, fully remote position is ideal for a developer who enjoys solving technical challenges and delivering intuitive mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance Android applications and mobile features.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using modern Android development practices.
• Translate product requirements and designs into functional mobile experiences.
• Integrate REST APIs, third-party services, databases and platform capabilities.
• Implement responsive interfaces with strong usability and performance.
• Debug, test, troubleshoot and optimise application performance.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, backend developers and QA teams.
• Participate in code reviews and help define development standards.
• Monitor application performance and support continuous product improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment.

Required skills

• Kotlin and/or Java.
• Android SDK, Android Studio.
• RESTful APIs, JSON.
• Git version control.
• Mobile application architecture.
• UI/UX principles for responsive mobile interfaces.
• Testing, debugging, performance optimisation and application deployment.
