Applied Catalyst Technology Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Applied Catalyst Technology Engineer to provide technical support for ethylene catalyst applications across the Middle East and Africa. The role involves on‑site and remote assistance, performance monitoring and collaboration with global teams to ensure customer success.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site and remote technical assistance to ethylene customers throughout the MEA region.
• Monitor catalyst performance, analyse data, identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and troubleshoot catalyst‑related problems.
• Lead catalyst loading, start‑up and performance evaluation activities.
• Prepare and present technical reports and performance summaries to customers.
• Coordinate with global ACT and Sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and support business development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Chemical Technology.
• Only GCC citizens are eligible to apply.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in plant operations or catalyst technical service in a petrochemical, refinery or oil & gas environment.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
