Assistant Audit Manager

About the role

KPMG Bahrain is seeking an Assistant Audit Manager to join its Audit practice. You will work with a diverse client base, applying a risk‑focused audit methodology and supporting transaction‑related engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit engagements for a range of industries, emphasizing key risk areas.
• Support due‑diligence and transaction‑support projects, including agreed‑upon procedures and accounting support.
• Collaborate with senior managers to develop audit plans that align with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and contribute to the development of best‑practice reporting.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Fully qualified professional (CA, ACCA, ACA, CPA, CMA, or CIA).
• Minimum 5 years of public audit experience, with at least 3 years post‑qualification, preferably in a Big 4 firm.
• Strong understanding of IFRS 9 and Basel regulatory requirements.
• Experience in audit‑adjacent engagements such as agreed‑upon procedures or transaction support.
