Assistant Internal Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous and motivated Assistant Internal Auditor to support our internal audit function across a diversified portfolio that includes automotive, healthcare, manufacturing, real estate, and services. You will work closely with senior auditors to evaluate and improve risk management, control, and governance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of internal audit engagements.
• Prepare clear, accurate work papers documenting tests and findings.
• Examine internal controls, policies, and procedures for effectiveness and compliance.
• Identify significant business risks and propose practical mitigation recommendations.
• Assist in drafting comprehensive audit reports and conduct follow‑up reviews.
• Maintain integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality throughout audit activities.
• Collaborate with the audit team and share insights to enhance analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
• Active pursuit of or possession of professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, or CPA.
• Proven experience in an internal or external audit role, preferably in a diversified business environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Solid understanding of internal audit principles and IIA standards.
