Associate, Crypto & Fiat Payment Operations

About the role

The Associate, Crypto & Fiat Payment Operations will manage daily cross‑border fiat remittances, crypto settlements and account reconciliations. You will ensure payments are processed accurately, exceptions are resolved promptly, and all activities comply with AML and Travel Rule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Process end‑to‑end cross‑border fiat remittances, handle payment inquiries, amendments and cancellations.
• Format and process SWIFT MT (MT199, MT192) and ISO 20022 (pacs.008, pacs.004, pacs.002) messages.
• Resolve payment exceptions, liaise with correspondent banks and partners to clear Nostro breaks.
• Execute daily OTC on‑ramp/off‑ramp transactions, on‑chain token transfers and buy/sell trade settlements.
• Manage liquidity per Treasury instructions and operate institutional wallet platforms.
• Perform double‑entry reconciliations across Nostro, LP, exchange and wallet ledgers.
• Conduct Travel Rule screening and monitor crypto transfers for risk alerts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business or related field.
• 1–3 years of operational experience in bank payment processing, cross‑border remittances or fintech/crypto operations.
• High attention to detail, strong problem‑solving skills and ability to meet strict daily cut‑off times.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 payment messaging.
• Hands‑on familiarity with crypto wallets, stablecoins and on‑chain token transactions.
• Experience using block explorers such as Etherscan or Solscan for transaction investigations.
• Knowledge of AML, KYC, sanctions screening and Travel Rule requirements.
