Audit & Assurance Trainee

About the role

Join the Audit and Assurance Department at Grant Thornton Bahrain as a Trainee and gain hands‑on experience across a variety of industries. You will work alongside seasoned auditors, supporting the delivery of high‑quality audit engagements while developing a solid foundation in accounting standards and client interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing audit engagements, including testing controls and performing substantive procedures.
• Prepare financial statements and audit reports in line with applicable accounting standards.
• Conduct research and analysis to support audit findings and recommendations.
• Participate in client meetings, gather information, and address client queries.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of engagements and maintain high‑quality work.
• Stay up‑to‑date with relevant accounting and auditing regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
