B1 Licensed Engineer – B767 Flying Spanner (6‑month contract)

About the role

Altitude Engineering is seeking a UK‑licensed B1 Engineer to join its Bahrain team as a Flying Spanner on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. The role focuses on B767 CF6 engine maintenance, with B777 GE90 experience considered an advantage. You will operate from Bahrain International Airport, supporting commercial routes and weekend standby duties.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on B767 CF6 engines.
• Provide technical support for B777 GE90 engines when required.
• Execute Flying Spanner duties, including on‑site troubleshooting and repairs.
• Participate in weekend standby rotations to ensure aircraft availability.
• Maintain compliance with B1 licensing standards and company safety procedures.

Required profile

• Valid UK B1 Licensed Engineer certificate.
• Current experience on B767 CF6 engines; B777 GE90 experience desirable.
• Willingness to work onsite in Bahrain with a 6‑week on / 3‑week off schedule.
• Ability to travel on company‑provided flights, including jump‑seat arrangements.
