Backfill IT Support Engineer – EUC/Deskside Support (EMEA)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced EUC/Deskside Support Engineer to join our EMEA team in Manama, Bahrain, on a backfill basis. The role involves providing hands‑on desktop and end‑user computing support, managing hardware assets, and ensuring smooth IT operations across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage laptop stock, asset tracking and maintain accurate records in ITSM platforms.
• Perform software installations, deployments and profile archiving.
• Coordinate with Facilities for non‑network device setup.
• Troubleshoot end‑user devices, conference‑room equipment and infrastructure issues.
• Support regional IT operations and ensure SLA adherence.

Required profile

• 3–4+ years of experience in IT Service Management, EUC or Deskside Support.
• Strong hands‑on hardware skills, including assembling and re‑seating components.
• Good stakeholder management and excellent English communication.

Required skills

• SCCM, Ivanti, Microsoft Intune for software deployment.
• Windows OS installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Network troubleshooting and knowledge of infrastructure components.
• Support of conference‑room devices: Polycom, Cisco, StarLeaf, Microsoft Teams Rooms, touch panels, monitors, cameras, IP phones.
• Remote support tools: RDP, iDRAC, iLO.
• Printer troubleshooting, file restoration, antivirus and endpoint update management.
• IT Asset Management and lifecycle handling (imaging, allocation, reclamation).
• ITSM tools and ITIL Service Management processes.
