Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will join the executive leadership team to provide strategic financial direction, oversee operational finance, and ensure regulatory compliance. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will drive financial planning, capital management and support the firm’s growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s financial and capital strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and long‑term value creation.
• Prepare accurate IFRS/GAAP financial statements and management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) regulations, Bahrain law and maintain robust internal controls and audit readiness.
• Oversee treasury functions, cash flow, liquidity, working capital and banking relationships.
• Manage financial risk, including market, credit and operational risks, and monitor capital adequacy and solvency.
• Support fundraising, capital structuring, financing initiatives and investment due‑diligence.
• Build, mentor and lead the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in the financial sector, preferably in a senior finance role.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA or equivalent are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, financial reporting and regulatory requirements in Bahrain.
• Proven ability to lead finance teams and drive strategic initiatives.
