Compliance Assistant

About the role

AX Coin, the first licensed stablecoin issuer in Bahrain, is looking for a Bahrain‑based Compliance Assistant to support the rollout and ongoing monitoring of its stablecoin, wallet, custody and API infrastructure. This hands‑on role focuses on executing regulatory requirements quickly and accurately, working closely with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in executing regulatory compliance rollouts for stablecoin, wallet, custody and API products across Bahrain and regional markets.
• Support day‑to‑day compliance monitoring, implementation testing and go‑live readiness of digital products.
• Collaborate with fintechs, payment companies and compliance partners on onboarding, due diligence and KYC/AML integrations.
• Maintain compliance trackers and documentation to ensure safe market launches within regulatory boundaries.
• Drive project management, stakeholder coordination and meet all regulatory reporting deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Criminology or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or up to one year of internship/entry‑level experience in financial services, legal research or compliance.
• Strong interest in financial regulations; familiarity with the CBB Rulebook or Bahrain AML Decree is a plus.
• Basic understanding of AML/CFT principles, corporate governance and digital wallets.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Arabic proficiency is highly valued.
• Legal authorization to work in Bahrain.

Required skills

• Knowledge of blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis, Elliptic or TRM Labs.
